About this “Best-of”

Best-of-Craigslist is a collection of the best posts within the Craigslist site. Posts for this section are nominated by readers of area forums, and chosen by Craigslist staff. They highlight the best of the city and the best of the site together in one listing.

It is however hard to find anything in the Best-of-Craigslist from your city when your city is small. (There have only been two posts from the Fort Collins site on the Best-of list.) Nominations mean that higher readership equals higher chances of getting your post noticed by CL staff, kind of like the House of Representatives. That is why I am compiling the best of Fort Collins: equal representation.

As part of the Best-of-Craigslist tradition, I will compile only from the Fort Collins site. As part of the blogosphere tradition of citizen journalism, I will instead report on the blogs while, in most cases, remaining as unbiased as possible. This includes forums and advertisements, anything that makes me say, “Hum….”
